A group of active citizens in Goa have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Engineer of Goa, expressing concerns about the substandard condition of roads. They alleged the PWD and contractors have "fooled" the taxpayers with substandard works. "Not a single road is good in the state, today Goa is no more famous for its beaches and food but is more famous for its terrible road conditions," an activist said. The activists highlighted the urgent need for improvements and better maintenance to ensure safer travel for everyone.
