The Nirmala Institute of Education, Panaji in association with the Yash Charitable Trust (YCT) (Mumbai) will organise a 2-hour webinar on October 13, 2021, on the topic “Strengths-based approaches to disability”
Dr Sushama Nagarkar, the Managing Trustee of YCT will present the work of the organization and how this helped interact, especially adults in earning and learning. She is a Doctorate in Special Education from the University of Missouri.
Besides, Sushama has been a registered Rehabilitation Psychologist (RCI) and currently works as a technical consultant on a part-time basis with the Morris Foundation, Pune. The Foundation provides support services for students with learning disabilities.
