The Secretarial Practice Department of St Francis Xavier Higher Secondary School, Siolim organised a webinar on the topic’ Stock Markets Made Easy’ for around 80 students of Std XII Commerce.
The resource person was Leander Ataide, Proprietor of Centurions and Stock Market Analyst, Trader and Investor. He spoke about the primary and secondary markets, the different types of dealers and speculators, the procedure to deal at the stock exchange, and also shared in brief information about Fundamental and Technical analysis.
There was an interactive session where queries put forth by the students were replied to by the resource person. Avila Fernandes said she gained a lot of knowledge from the webinar especially concerning the practical aspects of the stock markets. The teacher in charge Sandhya Fernandes welcomed the virtual gathering. Juriel D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks, states a press release.
