World Sight Day was organised at Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics at Margao by the Lions Club of Canacona with Leo Club of Canacona and NSS Unit of the college with Saksham Goa.
Pradeep Sharma delivered a talk on the importance and awareness of World Sight Day to the third-year students at the college. Sharma from Saksham Goa with CAMBA elaborated on the importance of the eye (cornea) donation after death to a person who needs to see this beautiful world.
At the programme, Ainsley Bernard NSS Unit Coordinator along with Lion Patricia Mendonca and Leo Vaughan were present and gave their views and appealed for this wonderful initiative on World Sight Day, states a press release.
