The International Centre Goa will be holding a dialogue on ‘Startup India: What is next?’ by Rajan Anandan, MD, Sequoia Capital and Surge on August 10 on Zoom Live at 6-7 pm. Anandan will be in discussion with Dattaraj Salgaocar, vice-president, ICG on and take up a broad range of topics pertaining to start-ups in India. ICG president Yatin Kakodar will give the introductory speech.
As part of the leadership team at Sequoia Capital, Anandan is focusing on developing Surge into the world's top scale-up programme for start-ups by acting as an investment advisor and mentor to the programme's founders. He is also a prolific angel investor who has backed a large number of successful start-ups at the very early stages. He also led Microsoft and Dell in India, worked for Michael Dell, the founder of Dell and was earlier a Partner at McKinsey & Company in Chicago. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
