The PC Trust annually and by rotation has a unique gesture to appreciate and recognise 12 teachers of Chinchinim and beyond by cash incentives, citations, and beautiful special presentations. This is an inititiative by donors of Chinchinim village. It is hoped other villages in Goa are inspired to act as well.The Trust honours Diocesan Society of Education (DSE) teachers by rotation annually on September 5 founded by DSE heads of schools and friends. The Rev Canon Antimo Gomes awards with citation and Rs 4000 are presented as follows to Mario Vales of MMHS Chinchinim; Prashant U Dessai of St Theresa Canacona; Perpetua Colaco of St Theresa, Candolim and Cioleta Diniz of St Jude's, Betalbatim. The Trust felicitates teachers of Assumpta School, Sarzora by rotation. Sr M Jessie, Headmistress awarded Rs 10,300, Nashoma C.M Deus of Secondary awarded Rs6,250, Priankanni Mascarenhas of Primary awarded Rs7,800, Sylvia A Da Costa awarded Rs 3,750 and Nikeeta Coutinho, Maths of Secondary awarded Rs2,750. The memorial awards are founded by donors. Ashtrid Pires e Costa SMA awarded Rs 5,000 sponsored by Union Bank of India and Basilya Maria Travasso MMHS war awarded Rs 5,000 sponsored by Bank of India, Chinchinim.
