The annual exhibition of ‘Diwali magazines’ was inaugurated at Valpoi district library at the hands of the readers and visitors who came to the library. The event was attended by the chief of library Dipti Sawant along with Sheel Gaonkar, Mira Bhosale, Divya Kopardekar, Devika Sawant and others. The exhibition has over 140 Diwali magazines displayed for the readers. “The library is a treasure trove for avid readers. It helps to cultivate the habit of reading among the public by introducing them to books, newspapers and magazines. It also helps in nurturing the reading habit among GenNext and if the public avails the facilities at the library, it will enhance their knowledge base,” stated Dipti Sawant after the inauguration.
