The friends and former students of late prof Alito Siqueira of the department of sociology at Goa University, will be releasing two books on August 8 at 6 pm. The books, both of which are titled ‘Hanv Konn’ are in English and Marathi respectively. The late professor made these works happen before his passing on the day exactly two years ago. After the book release session, there will be a session of reminiscences of Alito, the man and the teacher at his home at 7.30 pm. Those who knew Alito or worked with him or who would like to share 2-3 minutes of remembrances at the session soon after 7.30 pm can do so. Those who wish to attend should confirm by Sunday noon (August 8) on 9822122436 (WhatsApp).
