Former spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Olencio Simoes and former AAP Dabolim candidate Vasant Gopi Naik resigned from the primary membership of AAP on Saturday. Speaking to reporters, Simoes and Naik said they would decide their political journey ahead by taking into consideration and suggestions of all their well wishers.Simoes stated that Goans need to be vigilant and introspect on the political scenario before it's too late as it could spell doom for Goa. "During Kejriwal’s recent visit to Goa, he spoke of freebies and electricity, but sidelined the core issues of double tracking, river nationalization, CZMP and several main issues of Goa. If a Konkani academy could be set up in Delhi then why can’t they at least rebuild the church which was demolished in Delhi? It stands clear that they are contesting again just like in 2017 and they will divide secular votes in the State," said Simoes.
