The Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, in collaboration with the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, Rajasthan will be organising a three-day “Art & Calligraphy Workshop” from September 20 to 22, 2021, under the guidance of expert Manjri Varde at the Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji.
The said workshop is being organized to celebrate India@75 “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and Goa@60 “60 years of Goa’s Liberation”.
The three-day workshop is being organised for the participants to have basic knowledge of calligraphic art. Only the first 20 participants will be registered for the workshop which is scheduled between 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm from September 20 to 22, 2021, in the department premises. The registration forms will be available at the office of the Directorate of Art and Culture from September 13, 2021, onwards at Rs 10, each, between 10 am to 5 pm. The calligraphy pens will be provided to all the participants along with a participation certificate which will be awarded at the completion of the three-day course.
