Minister for Agriculture, Chandrakant Kavlekar, will inaugurate two -day district level exhibition to be held on February 24 and 25 at 10.00 am organized by Agriculture Technology Management Agency(ATMA) South, Directorate of Agriculture at Sports Complex Ground, Borimal, Quepem. The exhibition is organized to promote the production, value addition and marketing of agricultural produce and to showcase latest developments in agriculture sector.
Similarly expert lectures and demonstrations will be held at the venue. During this two-day exhibition various crops grown, agricultural technologies and services provided in the field of agriculture and allies sectors like horticulture, animal Husbandry, dairy, fisheries, bee keeping, etc will be depicted. Govt departments, non govt agencies, self help groups and private companies and plant nurseries will participate and display and sell their products, hi-tech inputs, services during the exhibition. The exhibition will be open for public daily from 10.00am to 7.00pm as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
