Anti-terrorism day to be observed today

The Death Anniversary of former Prime Minister of India late Rajiv Gandhi will be observed as “Anti-terrorism” day on May 21. On the day Chief Secretary, Puneet Kumar Goyal, IAS will garland the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi followed by administering the Ant-terrorism pledge in the open space of the Secretariat, Porvorim, at 10 am.

Vessels permitted to cross Aguada Sand Bar

PANAJICaptain of Ports Department has granted permission for the vessels/barges to cross the Aguada Sand Bar from May 21 to May 25 noon only to those applied for permission, at their own risks and perils, provided vessels should have valid survey certification and valid insurance and weather permitting; keeping in mind at all times the onset of South West Monsoon.
