PANAJI: The NSS unit of Carmel College of Arts, Science, and Commerce for Women, in collaboration with the Goa State Commission for Women and the Cyber Wellness Centre, organised a cyber security awareness programme on 7th August 2024. Ranjita Pai, Chairperson of the Goa State Commission for Women, was the chief guest, and Nikita Goswami, Counsellor and Trainer at the Cyber Wellness Centre, Panaji, was the resource person.
The programme started at 12:30 p.m. in the college auditorium with a welcome of the guests and speaker using potted plants. Dr. Glenis Mendonça led a prayer, and Dr. Janet Mascarenhas introduced the guests. Ranjita Pai explained the work of the Goa State Commission for Women, and Nikita Goswami gave an informative presentation on various cybercrimes and safety measures.
