Basilica closed on March 21

The Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa will remain closed for tourists and other visitors on March 21 from 11.30 am onwards.

Rector of the Basilica of Bom Jesus Fr Patricio Fernandes said the Basilica is being closed on account of repair works. He, however, stated that Masses would be celebrated as usual at 7 am, 8 am, 9.15 am, and 10.15 am (English).

CCP polls: DM orders temporary closure of road

PANAJIThe District Magistrate, North, has ordered the temporary closure of the stretch of roads from Old Education Department, Caculos land till Campal for the purpose of distribution/receiving and counting of votes process for General Election to the Corporation of City of Panaji at Goa College of Pharmacy Panaji, 18th June road on March 18, 2021 after 8 pm, March 19, 2021 and March 20, 2021 (full day) and on March 22, 2021 from 6 am, till the completion of the counting.
