The Indian Guard Headquarters at Goa observed a change of helm as Deputy Inspector General Arunabh Bose relinquished command to Deputy Inspector General Manoj Bhatia.
The incoming ICG Commander of Goa is a 1992 batch executive cadre officer, an accomplished logistician. He is also an alumni of National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM).
He has held the distinction of commanding various Coast Gourd afloat units in his over three decades of Coast Guard service. The Officer served as Principal Director Logistics at CGHQ, New Delhi in his last appointment.
The Officer is a recipient of Tatrakshak Medal (Gallantry) in 2023 for successful mission at sea. He has also been commended by the Director General Indian Coast Guard twice, in 1999 & 2013 and by the Commander Coast Guard Region (West) in 2005.
