Bom Jesus Basilica closed on December 30

The Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa will be closed for tourists and other visitors on December 30 from 9 am onwards.

“Tourists and other visitors will not be permitted inside the Basilica during this time on account of a private ceremony,” informed Fr Patricio Fernandes, Rector of Basilica of Bom Jesus.

CURCHOREM: A power shut down has been arranged on Sub Div IV and Div VII, Pontemol Curchorem from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on December 31. Areas affected are Barkatem, Cansaulim(63KVA), Nirmala, Mollem Sawant(100KVA), Palaskata and Salgaonkar(63KVA), as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.
