Thirteen NGOs and self-help groups have displayed over 100 items at the Annual Christmas Sweets Sale organised by Caritas Goa at the Caculo Mall in Panaji. The traditional Christmas Sale will take place till December 23 from 10.30 am to 9 pm. The Annual Christmas Sweets Sale was inaugurated by Chief Officer of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Agnelo Fernandes in the presence of Caritas Goa Director Fr Maverick Fernandes. "The sale is a marketplace for our NGOs and self-help groups to showcase their delicious and innovative products and increase awareness of their cause,” said Fr Fernandes. “Our NGOs are intent on showcasing the stories of their art through savouries, sweets and cool stuff. This year, we have 13 NGOs and self-help groups with a product catalogue of over 100 items under one roof, " said Fr Maverick Fernandes. In his address, Agnelo Fernandes appealed to people to indulge in shopping for a positive impact and noble cause during the spirit of Christmas.
