Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated various facilities for Goa University at a function held at Dona Paula on Friday. The facilities include Animal House Facility for Department of Zoology constructed at Rs 77.7 lakh. CM also inaugurated an Auditorium Annex constructed at Rs 17.7 lakh. Earlier, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a lecture hall for Goa Business School. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2.83 crore.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Varun Sahani, Registrar Goa University Dr Radhika Nayak, HoD Department of Zoology Dr R Roy, Dean Goa University Dr Menon, HoD Department of Botany Prof P K Sharma, University Engineer V Sawkar, E Engineer Sangam Talaulikar were present on the occasion.
