CM lays foundation stone for cyclone shelter

PANAJI
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant laid the foundation stone for a National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project (NCRMP) Phase-II, construction of Multi-Purpose Cyclone Shelter (MPCS) at Althino, Panaji on Friday.

CM addressing the gathering said that a total of 12 such projects are coming up in various places in Goa of which 50 to 80 per cent work is already completed and this is the 11th project he added. He further thanked the World Bank for providing the state with such projects and also lauded the work done by the Department of Water Resource Team.
