A book “Stalwarts Of The Tiatr Stage” authored by veteran tiatr artiste John Claro Fernandes and published by Omor Prokaxon, Candolim will be released on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 5 pm at Leo’s Aqua Splash, at Chandor, Salcete. Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco will be the chief guest and do the honours of releasing the book.
John Claro Fernandes is a dedicated protagonist of the Tiatr stage. He has contributed a lot for the development as well as the preservation of the Goan Tiatr for the last 60 years. He started his career on the commercial tiatr stage in 1953 with ‘Camil Bottler’. Till date, Fernandes has written, produced and directed 15 tiatrs and staged them in Goa, Bombay and elsewhere.
