MAPUSAA 17-year-old minor girl who had been kidnapped was rescued within five hours on Monday. Colvale Police were able to trace the girl in quick time after scrutinising call details on her cell phone. The father of the minor had lodged a complaint that his daughter had been kidnapped by an unknown person. During the investigation, it was revealed that the victim girl was allegedly friendly with a boy. Colvale Police then formed a team led by PSI Sushant Sangadkar who scoured all possible hideouts in its jurisdiction. The cops also scanned the victim’s mobile phone for leads. After collating all information, the team finally managed to trace the minor girl. Police registered an offence against an unknown person. Further investigation is on.
