A case has been registered against two jail inmates of the Central jail in Colvale for assaulting a fellow prisoner and murder accused, Gourav Bidre. Colvale Police have filed an FIR against convicts, Chotu Shaikh and Sadik Chotu. It may be recalled the accused in the Gauri Achari murder case had recently alleged that he was being assaulted by other prisoners and requested for putting him in a separate cell.
