MARGAO: Compassion FC thumped Sirvodem Sports Club 5-1 in the Khelo India U-13 women football tournament, at SAG Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda, on Wednesday.
Compassion dominated the game and Mathea Rust broke the deadlock in the sixth minute. However, their joy was short-lived as four minutes later, Mizia Rodriguez cancelled the lead. Unperturbed, Compassion FC upped the ante and Matheia Rust regained the lead in the 24th minute. Earlier, Lilian Rodrigues added his name on the scorer-list in the 16th minute. Sahana Gaonkar was in thick action scored a brace in the 34th and 49th minutes respectively
