Former Cortalim BJP Mandal President Joel Fernandes, who had quit the BJP to join the AAP, has now resigned from the party. Fernandes has, however, decided to retire from politics and will not join any other party. In a letter to AAP Convenor Rahul Mhambre, Fernandes said he was unhappy with the sudden induction of former Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha into the party. “A few weeks ago, I was taken by surprise when former BJP MLA was suddenly inducted into the AAP,” said Fernandes.
