MARGAO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda got the better of Wilred Leisure SC Curtorim 4-3 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the 17th All Goa Inter-Village Seraulim Panchayat Cup football tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim, at the Seraulim Panchayat ground.
The two teams ended regular time in a goalless draw, both squandering several opportunities to take the lead. As the match went to penalties to determine the winner, Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda proved to be the more composed side, with successful conversions from Edgar Noronha, Hanslon Furtado, Roque Borges, and Alfred Noronha.
Wilred Leisure SC Curtorim responded with goals from Savio Peixoto, Nickon Castanha, and Ryan Fernandes. Ultimately, Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda edged out their opponents to claim victory.
