Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) has invited writers to participate in the competition for Book of the Year Award 2021.
The book written in Roman Konkani should have at least 150 pages. There is no age bar for writers and the book should be published during the period January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. Books containing matter criticizing any religion, nation or racism will not be considered for the award, said a DKA press release.
Besides the literature, the involvement of the writer in the Konkani movement/activities will also be considered while selecting the book by the panel of judges appointed by DKA.
Goan writers should apply with three copies of books in person or through post to Dalgado Konknni Akademi, Old Education Department building, 2nd floor, near Pharmacy College, 18 June Road, Panaji, Goa on or before November 7.
