Goa could only manage to post 138/7 with Suyash Prabhudessai (64 off 49 balls) playing the lone ranger in an otherwise tame batting effort. Punjab knocked off the runs in 15.4 overs as openers Prabhsimran Singh (74 off 43 balls) and Abhishek Sharma (54 not out off 44 balls) set up an easy win, their third, which helped them go top of the table with 12 points.
Goa slipped to fifth as they stay static on eight points from two wins and two losses.
