Dr Mehndiratta honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at GIMACON

VASCO: Dr Anil Mehndiratta, a respected chest physician and DG Shipping-approved medical examiner, has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at GIMACON, the annual Indian Medical Association (IMA) Goa state conference.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant presented the award during a grand ceremony, recognising Dr Mehndiratta’s significant contributions to medicine.

With an impressive career, Dr Mehndiratta served as IMA Goa State President in 2019 and State Secretary in 2012. He has also been IMA Goa’s Website Editor since 2013.

Youth Cong launches ‘Chalo Panchayat, Chalo Ward’

VASCO: Goa Pradesh Youth Congress launched ‘Chalo Panchayat, Chalo Ward’ initiative from Mormugao and cleaned the area near pilot point. Speaking on the occasion, GPYC Working President Mahesh Nadar said they will interact with youth under the ‘Chalo Panchayat, Chalo Ward’ initiative to understand their issues and to resolve them. Many youth cleaned the area of Mormugao as a mark of tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth…
