Dylan Fernandes received the most prestigious National Established Icon Art Award for excellence in art during the National Social Award ceremony organised by Anant Vikas Jain of the Spandan Global Art and Cultural organisation at the Taj Mahal Palace at Colaba, Gateway of India, Mumbai.
Satinder Singh Ahuja, Consul of the Georgian Consulate, Mumbai was the chief guest and conferred the award on Fernandes.
Dylan Ismena Fernandes is a Science and Art teacher by profession at Holy Cross High School, Siolim, an artist at heart who pursues her passion for painting.
“Art invites us to an encounter, which is a gift”a spiritual gift that might bring us into a deeper relationship with God,” she believes.
