On the occasion of the 11th Goa State Road Safety Week, the Department of Zoology of the Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, organised a program on “Road Safety Awareness” in association with Regional Transport Office, Directorate of Transport Enforcement, South Goa on October 12.
A team of enthusiastic road transport officers along with the Assistant Director of Transport (Enf.) South, Margao Francis Quadros visited the campus for the event and addressed the students and faculty on the theme “Start early, drive defensively, Reach Safely”.
More than 200 participants including faculty were present for this awareness talk.
