The Village Panchayat of Betalbatim in association with Betalbatim Farmers’ Association and Zonal Agriculture Office, Margao organised Awareness cum Krishi Card Registration drive on Tuesday in Social Club Hall, Betalbatim, under Atmanirbhar Bharat: Swayampurna Goa.
More than 90 farmers attended the programme.
Constancio Miranda, sarpanch of Village Panchayat Betalbatim welcomed and explained the importance of having a Krishi card.
Umesh Canconkar Assistant Agriculture Officer presented all the Agriculture Department schemes such as community farming, skill development, subsidies, farmers club, etc.
Anup Varik, Assistant Agriculture and Dipesh Gaude, Field Assistant helped in the registration of Krishi card.
Arun Panchwadkar the Swayampurna Mitra was present for the programme.
