Director of Social Welfare has informed that the financial assistance under Dayanand Social Security Scheme has been disbursed to the beneficiaries upto April 2021. The amount for the month of May 2021 will be released shortly.
This is in reference to the news item regarding pending release of Dayanand Social Security Scheme money to the beneficiaries since last three months that appeared in a local daily. It is brought to the notice of the general public that the said news is not reliable and should be ignored, as informed by the Information and Publicity Department.
