MARGAO: Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda trounced Sporting Club of Davorlim 5-1 to move to the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Guardian Angel Festival Soccer inter-village football tournament, at Curchorem ground, on Monday.
Fr Agnelo netted a brace through Jaison Fernandes in the 10th and 15th minutes. Nelson Oliveira, Regan Costa and Omkar Goankar netted a goal each for Fr Agnel in the 17th, 49th and 50th minutes respectively. Ali Khan pulled a goal back for Davorlim in the 57th minute.
Jaison Fernandes received the man of the match trophy from Custodio Albuquerque.
