The A V Da Costa Multispecialty Hospital, Fatorda supported by the Borda Citizens Committee will hold a free medical camp at Holy Spirit school, ground floor on May 7 from 9.30 am to 1 pm. Organised with the help of Holy Spirit, Church, Margao, the camp will be led by Laparoscopic surgeon, Dr Rudolf Vas, Dr Amol Narkede (Orthopaedic surgeon), Dr Rynell Rodrigues (physiotherapy), Dr Joan Mira Da Costa (Paediatrician), Dr Anna Maria Vas (Obstetrics and Gynaecologist), Dr Akshta Kotharkar (Dental and Maxillo Facial surgeon) and Dr Swapnil Naik (physician), besides other doctors, nurses and staff and support of Ocean Diagnostics. Camp Coordinator, ex-Margao Municipal Councilor Grenn Anthony Andrade told the media that free medical camp includes free diabetic, pressure, bone density check up, besides free ECG for citizens above 50 years. He said free medicines of calcium, vitamins, pressure, diabetic, cholesterol, besides other from reputed pharmaceutical companies will be given to the patients.
