Important amendments relevant for the Finalization of Accounts for FY 2020-21 are made in the Companies Act and Income Tax Act and during the 43rd GST Council meeting on 28 May, various key decisions including the GST amnesty scheme were recommended.
The notifications are expected to be released soon, said a GCCI press release, announcing further that a webinar has been organised on June 16, from 10 am to 1 pm, to cover topics such as important amendments in GST, Income Tax and Company Act, recent changes in GST, Companies Act and Income Tax Act, Accounting Standards, Schedule III, CSR, extension of due dates and amnesty schemes.
Two chartered accountants will be the speakers for the webinar - Gaurav Kenkre who will be covering ‘Amendments in GST’ and Rohan Bhandare who will explain the ‘Amendments in Income Tax and Company Law’.
