PANAJI: The National School of Drama (NSD) is organising its flagship Bharat Rang Mahotsav (BRM), the International Theatre Festival of India, in Goa from January 29 to February 1.
CM Pramod Sawant will be the Chief Guest at the Opening Ceremony which will be held at Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Kala Academy, Panaji, at 6:00 PM on January 29. Being organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Art & Culture, Goa, the four-day festival in Goa will feature four plays which will be performed at Kala Academy, with the play ‘Naagmandal’, written by Girish Karnad, being the opening play. BRM 2025 is being held under the theme ‘Ek Rang, Shreshth Rang’ (One Expression, Supreme Creation). Noted actor and NSD alumnus Rajpal Yadav is the Rang Doot (Festival Ambassador) for this year.
