The Maharashtra State literary award Savitribai Phule Sahitya Bhushan Puraskar has been awarded to Goan history researcher Bhavarth Mandrekar for his book ‘Adwitiya Ransangram’. The book based on Indian national history was published in 2019 and has received tremendous feedback from the readers in Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The second edition of this book is on the way and the book will be translated into English too, stated the writer.
