The Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai extended heartiest greetings to the people of Goa on the colourful occasion of Holi. The Governor in his message said that, Holi is the festival of colours and is widely celebrated throughout the country. This is a festival of joy, fun and happiness. The unique feature of this festival is that while celebrating this festival everyone spreads the message of friendship and brotherhood. It is a vibrant festival, which marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. On the joyous occasion of Holi, the Governor has urged everyone to promote harmonious relationship, mutual understanding, social solidarity and national integration. "May this joyous festival of colour bring renewed peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of Goa”, the Governor concluded.
