MARGAO: Govt HS, Gaval-Khola will clash with St Anthony's HS, Galgibaga while St Francis Xavier HS Bhatpal will face St Anne's Institute, Agonda in the semi-finals of the Canacona Taulka U-12 boys inter school football tournament, organised by Canacona Sports & Cultural Club under the aegis of GFDC Devabag Centre.
In second day matches, Govt HS won against St Tereza of Jesus HS 2-0. In the first half, Rohan Jitonkar netted in 17th minute while during second half, Sankalp Zaraonkar increased the lead in the 32nd minute.
In the second match, St Francis Xavier HS defeated Shri Balram Residential HS 3-1 via penalty shoot-out.
During the full time the score was goalless Noel, Ansh & Srinesh found the net St Francis Xavier HS while only Tushar was the lone goalscorer for Shri Balram Residential HS.
