Ground floor of building destroyed in fire at Margao

MARGAO
Margao fire brigade rushed to the Gold Star building in the heart of the commercial capital following a fire on late Tuesday.

Fire brigade personnel informed that the ground floor of the building was engulfed by a fire.

The fire is believed to have caused destruction  to machinery and other tools housed in the building.

The exact loss of property is being ascertained. 

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the fire brigade.

It took the fire brigade around 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.
