IMD has predicted an increase in rainfall activity at isolated places in Goa till Sept 22. “In continuation of previous forecasts, heavy rainfall (more than 6.4 cm in 24 hours) is very likely at one or two places over Goa. Increase in rainfall is due to formation of a low-pressure area over southern Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood,” states the IMD release.
