A 6-day home electrical maintenance course conducted at Don Bosco Vocational Training Institute, Quepem in April received an overwhelming response and this innovative concept was welcomed by women who attended it with great enthusiasm. The first batch that has been trained in April is already applying their skills to maintain electrical appliances. “Some of these participants still come to the institute to continue their learning, and in response to their suggestions, we are conducting a similar course again exclusively for women for two weeks starting from June 1,” stated Fr Michael D’Costa of Don Bosco VTI. The course will start on June 1 and continue till June 15, (excluding Sundays) from 9 am to 12.30 pm with Rs 600 as fees.
