The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI)'s women's wing celebrated International Womens' Entrepreneurship Day recently at Panaji in the presence of former GCCI president Manguirish Pai Raikar and current president Ralph De Sousa. Earlier, a sustainable packaging workshop was conducted with Live Hive, wherein bamboo basket making was conducted by Mariona Pereira, gift box making by Alpna Kale and cloth making by Mayuri Krishna Signapurkar.
GCCI Women’s Wing Chairperson Pallavi Salgaocar welcomed the gathering and thanked Rotary Club of Panaji Riviera - president Sandra Fernandes, Gautam Kharangate, Deepali Naik “ director, Women and Child Development, Shreemi Panandiker and Dr Sneha Bhagwat for supporting the event. Manguirish Pai Raikar and Ralph De Sousa inspired the women entrepreneurs to look at entrepreneurship to achieve their dreams and make a sustainable living from it . The co-chairperson, Poonam Shirsat proposed the vote of thanks. Asha Arondekar and Poonam Naik Ajgaonker from GCCI WW and Mitali Nath from Live Hive coordinated. There were around 50 participants.
