Kala Academy Goa deeply mourns the sad demise of late Mario Menezes, Vice President of Tiatr Academy of Goa, who was associated with Kala Academy for the promotion of Tiatr in the State, said the academy in a press release. Govind Gaude, Chairman of Kala Academy Goa, deeply condoles the loss of Mario Menezes. "Known as the Tragedy King, 'Thank You' was his last Tiatr which completed 25 shows in various villages as an Easter release. This Tiatr carried a message very relevant to the present times, taking into consideration the loss of lives across the globe due to the pandemic. Lately, Mario Menezes was shouldering the responsibility of Vice President of Tiatr Academy of Goa and had many visionary plans for the growth of Tiatr. Mario Menezes was an asset to the Tiatr stage. His exit is a tremendous loss in the field of the tiatr community. Kala Academy joins one and all to condole his demise and prays to the Almighty that his soul may rest in peace and give strength to his bereaved family," the release further said.
