Four persons were rescued by Drishti lifesavers in two separate incidents at Calangute and Candolim on Thursday. In one incident, a group of 11 people were in the sea at Calangute when two youth aged 20 years started calling out for help.
Four Drishti lifesavers rescued the victims with the use of a rescue tube and rescue board and brought the duo ashore. Candolim witnessed a double rescue at Candolim of two males aged 25 years from Chattisgarh. Two Drishti lifesavers conducted the rescue.
