Varca-based Warren Alemao and founder of Zerodha, Nikhil Kamat has donated a Dura oxygen cylinder to Mahalaxmi Covid care centre under Kedar hospital.
The Dura cylinder was handed over to the hospital by Warren in memory of his father late Alvernaz Alemao. The donation was made coinciding with the 30th death anniversary of Alvernaz on May 16.
“We are working on a lot more things and hopefully this Dura cylinder will help in saving more lives,” Warren said. “I thank Nikhil Kamat, Bangalore who is the founder of Zerodha for helping me to save lives of our beloved Goans,” he said, while thanking uncle, MLA Churchill Alemao for encouraging him to serve the people of Goa.
