Man complains that minor daughter kidnapped, Margao police register case

The Margao police has registered a case of kidnapping after a complaint was lodged that a minor girl has been kidnapped.

Margao police informed that the FIR has been registered after the father of the minor girl complained that his daughter has been kidnapped.

A case under section 137 of the BNS 2025 and section 8(2) of the Goa Chidren’s Act stands registered. Further investigations is underway.

Man assaulted, bitten in altercation at Cortalim

VASCOA man was assaulted and bitten by an acquaintance during an altercation below the Cortalim bridge. According to a complaint filed by Omkar Ganachari of Zuarinagar, the incident occurred on July 11 at around 7.30pm, when the accused, identified as Pratik Chari from Vasco, assaulted him and his brother Ashutosh Ganachari with fist blows.
