A 50-year-old man ended his life at his house in New Vaddem, Vasco, on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased, Alfred D’Souza, had left behind a suicide note stating that he was extremely ill and he could not bear the pain caused by the illness and hence he had taken the extreme step to end his life.
The suicide is believed to have taken place while D’Souza was alone at home. The body has been sent for an autopsy at the GMC hospital for an autopsy and Vasco PSI Ritesh Tari is investigating the incident.
