The Chaturang Pratisthan telecast an innovative play performance on their official YouTube channel on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the veteran Marathi writer Kusumagraj and also on World Marathi Day, on February 27.
The playwright V V Shirvadkar and poet Kusumagraj are two different personalities unified in one physical body. Imagining that if these two different personalities stand facing each other in person, what would their dialogues be? This concept was presented in a dramatised form, the dialogues of which were penned by Dhanashree Lele, a scholar of Sanskrit and Marathi. The dialogues titled, 'Ha Surya... Hach Chandra' in the long form was directed by Digpal Lanjekar. The two characters were played by Deepak Karanjikar and Chinmay Mandlekar, respectively.
