In a tragic incident, a three-year-old patient from Navelim expired at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim after a case of drowning.
Doctors conducting the post mortem examination on the dead body had certified the cause of death due to “Aspiration pneumonitis as a delayed sequelae of near drowning as alleged.”
The dead body of the deceased was handed over to family members for final religious rites.
